Ride Santa Barbara 100: Oct 19, 2024

The premier cycling event set on California’s Central Coast, is returning to the Santa Barbara coastline for its 13th anniversary ride on October 19, 2024!

Packet Pick Up and Expo:

All riders must show ID. If someone else is picking up your packet, they MUST have a photo or copy of your ID, no exceptions. Your Rider Packet contains a jersey bib number which should be pinned to the back of your jersey, as well as helmet stickers and a corresponding number bike tag to go on your seat post.

*6:00 AM – Last Minute Registration/Packet Pick Up Opens at Chase Palm Park

6:00 AM – 6:30 AM – 100 Mile Bag Drop Off

7:00 AM – 100 Mile Ride begins

7:30 AM – 100K + Climb and 100K Coastal Rides begin

8:30 AM – 34 Mile Ride begins

11:00 AM – 6:00 PM – Finish Line Beer Garden with Gerard’s Paella Open

3:30 PM – Awards and Charity Presentation

6:00 PM – Festival Closes

*NOTE: We advise ALL RIDERS to arrive with a full water bottle on ride morning.

PARKING

Parking is available in the Chase Palm Park lot or nearby Harbor/surrounding lots for Packet pick up and for the ride Saturday. These lots typically charge a standard fee upon entry.

2024 Events:

100 mile – over 7,200 ft. of climbing

Start Time: 7:00 AM

  • The 100 mile course is one of the most beautiful and challenging 100 miles of riding you may ever accomplish!
  • Route highlights: scenic Casitas pass with views of the majestic Lake Casitas and nearly 1,200 ft. of climbing, Santa Barbara waterfront, the foothills of Carpinteria and Montecito, and the flatland’s of Goleta before finishing back at Chase Palm Park.
  • The 100 mile route will offer two separate timed climb segments with KOM/QOM jerseys awarded to the 1st place winners in each age group for their cumulative climb time!
  • Ride past the historic Old Mission Santa Barbara.

100 Mile Exclusive Benefits

  • All 100 milers will receive an exclusive Finisher Coin at the 100mi turnaround.
  • All 100 milers have the option to provide a custom nutrition bag to be utilized on the ride. Simply fill your Ride SB100 musette bag (available at packet pick up) or personal bag with your own nutrition supplies and send it on course for pick up at the 100 mile turn around.

100 km + Climb Challenge – over 6,600 ft. of climbing

  • 62 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer.
  • Includes a timed hill climb segment up the famous Painted Cave Road  – with KOM/QOM jersey awarded to the 1st place winners in each age group!
  • New in 2023! Ride past the historic Old Mission Santa Barbara.

100 km Coastal Route – 4,000′ of climbing

  • Ride through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country before turning inland to experience the back roads and rolling foothills of Santa Barbara with a few short climbs along the way.

Bike Rentals with Unlimited Biking

Don’t have a bike for the event? No problem! Rent a Cannondale Bike or Specialized with Unlimited Biking! All bikes will be brought to the start location and picked up at the end location for convenience. Helmets are provided with all rentals.
