100 KM + Climb Challenge

Route Highlights:

Covering approximately 68 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer, this route begins at Chase Palm Park and heads south along the coast to Carpinteria. From there, tackle the Toro Canyon Climb with a 5.3% grade and the steep Ladera Lane, reaching a 10.9% grade at its peak. Take on the centerpiece of the route, the Gibraltar Climb, a 6.1-mile ascent with an 8% grade, gaining 2,551 ft of elevation.

After conquering Gibraltar, enjoy the technical and scenic Painted Cave descent, then ride west along Riberia Drive through the picturesque community of Hope Ranch. Finish strong as you return to the heart of the ride at Chase Palm Park.
