Route Highlights

Covering 64 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer, this route begins at Chase Palm Park and heads south along the coast to Carpinteria. From there, tackle the Toro Canyon Climb with a 5.3% grade and the steep Ladera Lane, reaching a 10.9% grade at its peak. After the climbs, descend to the historic Old Mission Santa Barbara before riding west to Isla Vista. The route showcases breathtaking coastal views as you pedal along Goleta Beach and past the University of California, Santa Barbara, finishing back at Chase Palm Park.
